The STAR_Net Project's COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE |
The STAR_Net project is developing two hands-on exhibits - Discover Earth and Discover Tech - that will travel to public libraries across the country. In addition, the project is hosting a Community of Practice (CoP) Web site for professionals who want to provide or support STEM learning experiences in libraries. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This CoP is open to librarians, scientists, engineers, educators, museum staff, and others who want to:
Project Partners. The National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute is leading the STAR_Net project and development of the Discover Earth and Discover Tech exhibitions. Partners include the American Library Association, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and the National Girls Collaborative Project. |
